Hip-hop artist Travis Scott, whose legal name is Jacques Bermon Webster, was arrested in Miami Beach early Thursday on charges of disorderly conduct and trespassing, as reported by local police.
Around 1:44 a.m., police responded to a disturbance call at the city’s marina involving a yacht. Officers found Scott on the dock, shouting at passengers on the vessel. According to a police affidavit, Scott briefly complied with officers’ orders to sit but repeatedly stood up again.
The officers noted a “strong smell of alcohol” on Scott’s breath. Although the complainant opted not to press charges, they requested Scott be removed from the boat.
Scott initially left the marina but soon returned, attempting to reboard the yacht. Officers in the marina’s parking lot directed him to stop, but his disruptive behavior continued, resulting in his arrest.
Attempts to contact Scott’s representatives for comments were unsuccessful.
