Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who has experience as a congressman and Army veteran, joins Kamala Harris’s Democratic ticket with a strong liberal background. Harris, the Democratic nominee for the November 5 election, expressed pride in choosing Walz, praising his accomplishments as a governor, teacher and veteran. Walz, who is 60yrs, described the opportunity as the “honor of a lifetime,” likening it to the anticipation of the first day of school.
Walz has been serving as Minnesota’s governor since 2018 and spent 12 years in the U.S. House of Representatives. He also has a 24-year tenure with the Army National Guard. During his governorship, he has implemented progressive policies, including free school meals, climate change initiatives and the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Harris took the lead for the Democratic Party after President Joe Biden ended his reelection bid. She commended Walz for his leadership and his track record of supporting Minnesota families. In contrast, Trump campaign officials criticized the selection, calling both Harris and Walz out of touch with most Americans.
Walz’s addition to the ticket brings a well-regarded Midwestern politician, which could enhance Harris’s appeal in key battleground states like Wisconsin and Michigan. Previously lesser-known on the national stage, Walz has gained significant attention following his nomination as Harris’s running mate.
I was just as enthralled by your work as you were. The visual presentation is refined, and the written content is sophisticated. However, you seem anxious about the possibility of presenting something that could be perceived as questionable. I believe you’ll be able to rectify this matter in a timely manner.
Thanks👍
