A 22-year-old boy was killed after he was gone after by villagers who suspected him raping a 100-year-old woman.
Pius Mwireri drained to death in the wake of sustaining serious wounds from the irate mob in Karundori town in Runyenjes, Embu County, Kenya, police said.

Embu East Police Commander Emmanuel Okanda encouraged individuals on Tuesday, July 19, not to take law into their hands.
