Jese Mourinho told Afena Gyan he would fulfil his promise of buying him what he had requested earlier, an €800 shoe. The AS Roma Coach revealed the shoe he requested was very expensive but he would purchase it.
18year old Afena Gyan ran to his coach after he scored a brace for the club against Genoa. He was featured at the 11th hour but managed to score two goals, to seal a win for his club.

The young Ghanaian had earlier asked that Jose Mourinho buy him the €800 shoe so he ran to him to remind him after he scored the goals
“He was dreaming for this shoes so I thought, let’s do it” Mourinho said.

He was full of joy when he saw his new boot. He quickly looked into the box, opened the package and hugged his boss.
