Speaking to Light fm Solar gave account on the recent attack on Ayew brothers and news circulating that the brothers want to quit Black Stars Ayew brothers set to quit Ghana Black Stars. But Solar said all these is not true because the Ayew brothers love Ghana a lot and are still very committed to making sure the team gets back its glory. According to him Andre Ayew has been a remarkable leader of the team and has done tremendously well since 2019. And the only person who can take the Captaincy from him is President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo.

“It is pride and honour to captain your national team amd per the performance and leadership of Andre Ayew, it will only take the President of the land, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah to strip off the Captaincy from Dede Ayew. His absence will make it difficult for Ghana to beat Nigeria” he told light fm. Dede had a red card in Ghana vs Comoros match and will miss Ghana vs Nigeria match.
