Al Ahly have beaten Al Hilal at the FIFa Club World Cup. They defeated Al Hilal 4-0 to ein bronze.

The club have now won bronze back to back at the FIFA Club World Cup. The club has become the first to win three bronze medals at the FIFa Club World Cup. They won it first in 2006 and in 2020 and now 2022.
“Oh writer of history, do not close the pages. Al Ahly the bronze in the Club World Cup for the second year in a row and the third in its history” Al Ahly wrote on their twitter page.

Al Hilal suffered two red cards while they scored 4 goals to make history. Head Coach of the Egyptian club, Pitso Mosimane led the club to win bronze, becoming the only African player with back to back medals at the FIFa Club World.
