A 25year old Australian woman has become a millionaire over night after getting covid-19 vaccine jab. Young Joanne Zhu caught the eyes of many people across the world of becoming an instant millionaire after winning Australia’s covid-19 vaccine lottery

The Young Australian woman, Joanne Zhu participated in a million dollar vaccine lottery last month

Dozens of Australians have answered the government’s call to get themselves vaccinated, and they have all been all been entered into a lottery to win a life changing prize. Anyone who signed up their sleeves had a chance to winning a million dollar. Joanne’s name popped up when the winner was mentioned over the weekend.

In addition to the million dollar, there’s also 100 gift cards with $1000 in spending money. The initiative is created to help vaccinate more than 80% of Australians against covid-19. Receiving the prize, Joanne said she was clueless and knew nothing about winning a million dollar.

“someone rang me the other day. I think it was Friday, and I was at work. I couldn’t pick up the phone. Then I called them back. Oh, you have won a million dollar, you’re the only one in Australia” she said

She couldn’t hold her joy as she expressed her gratitude to donors and corporations for putting such initiative together. She also said she would like to fly her family out of China.

“I want to fly my family out from China, first class and put them up in a five star hotel for Chinese New Year if the borders are open. I will buy presents for my family and invest the rest of the money so I can help people if they need help” she detailed
