Barcelona offer Azpilicueta a two year contract according to reports. The Spanish club started talks with Azpilicueta and his team from December 2021, Fabrizio Romano revealed. Cesar Azpilicueta who is currently captain for Chelsea earlier told the club he was happy at the club for now. There have been reports earlier of Barcelona interested in him and Christensen. Chelse are yet to receive any official communique from Cesar Azpilicueta and his team. He’s yet to make a final decision. He has been brilliant in decision making as captain of Chelsea. “Barcelona have offered Cesar Azpilicueta a two year deal with an option to extend a further season. Talks started in December but Barca are still waiting for Azpilicueta to make final decision. Chelsea hope for Azpi to stay but no communication on player side” Fabrizio detailed.
