Bayern Munich legend, Gerd Muller has died at 75

German Football Club, FC Bayern Munchen, about four hours ago announced the sudden demise of its legendary player, Gerd Muller.

“Today the world of FC Bayern stands still. The German record champions and his entire fan base mourn Gerd Muller who died early on Sunday morning at the age of 75” a statement posted by the club reads.

He was a true Bayern Munich icon and West Germany World Cup winner. Muller scored 566 goals in 607 matches for West Germany, making him one of the greatest goalscorers in the history of football. Tributes have been pouring in from young and old players all over world, including Football Clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona, Manchester City, Liverpool just to mention a few.
