Black American rapper, Kanye West files to officially change name to YE
Black American rapper Kanye West has officially filed to change his name to YE. The rapper said back in 2018 he was YE which was his first signal only for him to formally file to finally be simply called YE, not Kanye West.

He told the world in his tweet in 2018 he was now YE after he dropped his album and named it YE.
He also said in 2018 he believed YE was the most used word in the Bible but noted in the court documents that it was for ‘personal reasons ‘
“I believe YE is the most commonly used word in the Bible, and in the Bible it means ‘you’ so I’m you, I’m us. It went from Kanye, which means the only one, to just YE – just being a reflection of our good, our bad, our confused, everything” Kanye West said to Big boy in 2018 when discussing the YE album according to BBC
