Reports reaching News247gh.com has it that Ghana Black Stars Coach, Milovan Rajevac has been sacked
Ghana Black Stars failed to make it to the round 16 of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations. Afcon2021 is slated to end on February 6, 2021.
A twitter post from Yaw Ampofo Jr. a sports journalist says the coach has been sacked.
“Black Stars Coach Milovan Rajevac has been sacked according to Ohene-Bampeo Brenya” He tweeted, tagging the source, Brenya who is also a sports journalist on Happy fm.
This is a breaking news which is credible because of the source. Brenya is also a Council Member of Sports writers Association of Ghana.
Ghana Black Stars lost a friendly match to Algeria prior to the Afcon2021 Ghana suffered a 3-0 defeat to Algeria in Afcon friendlies
They lost in their opening match against Morocco. They also had a draw in their second match against Gabon which only gave them a point. Black Stars last game against Comoros, which was a nightmare to many Ghanaians after they suffered a 3-2 defeat Ghana Black Stars to recieve $30k each if they win Comoros
The Black stars arrived in the country in the early hours of Thursday January 20 at the kotoka International Airport. Reports they arrived as early as 3am which is very unusual.
