Breaking news: Supreme Court of Ghana quashes High Court order, ask #FixTheCountry protesters to proceed
Supreme Court of Ghana has nullified an injunction against #FixTheCountry protesters and ask demonstrators to proceed. The case, sent to High court by Ghana police was nullified by a ruling delivered on Tuesday June 8.
Ghana police filed their case to High Court preventing the protest. A court order was secured by the police
It is hereby ordered that the organizers/convenes of FixTheCountey protest march, their associates, officers, agents, assigns and workmen are prohibited from embarking on any demonstrations on Sunday 9th May 202, or any other date until restriction on public gatherings is listed by the appropriate authority
This simply means protestors are free with their demonstrations as required by the constitution of Ghana, as a civil duty
