

Tariq Lamptey is currently in Ghana according to reports. The Brighton defender is here with his father to watch Ghana Black Stars play Afcon qualifier against Madagascar
Though Brighton defender Tariq Lamptey is not part of the current squad, he’s been a huge prospect and Black Stars management are doing everything possible to confirm his decision to play for the senior team.
The Brighton defender is the latest on the list willing to switch nationality to play for Ghana Black Stars. Callum Hudson Odoi and Eddie Nketiah are also working to pledge their allegiance to Ghana.

Tariq Lamptey pulled out from the U-21England squad when Black Stars officials reached out to him.
“Tariq Lamptey was the last I thought will play for Ghana. Now his decision is 109% made. His nationality process has hastened beyond imagination. One of the best young right backs in the world will be a Ghana International soon” Ghanaian sports journalist, Saddick Adams posted on twitter.
