The Portuguese midfielder was the first to snatch the ball after Salah’s goal and he tried his best to keep it off his rival in clear time-wasting antics.
Liverpool players were left fuming, and understandably so, and Fernandes was lucky to have walked away from the incident without a booking from the refree.
