Breaking news reaching News247gh.com can confirm that this season’s CL final has been moved from St Petersburg to Paris. We earlier reported about UEFA’s emergency meeting which has been scheduled for today, February 25th.

After careful deliberations and considerations, UEFA has decided to change the venue from Russia to Paris. Stade de France, will now be the venue of the season’s Champions league final.

“The UEFA Executive Committee held an extraordinary meeting following the grave escalation of the security in Europe. The UEFA Executive Committee decided to relocate the final of the 2021/22 UEFA Men’s Champions League from St Petersburg to Stade de France in Saint Denis. The game will be played as initially scheduled on Saturday 28th May” the statement from UEFA reads.
