Mr. Roman Abramovich has all his assets frozen according to The Sun.
According to reports, security services and Home Office were aware of “serious concerns ” about Roman Abramovich’s dealings in Britain. The report say they are also aware of his close links to Vladimir Putin and have closely been monitoring developments for three years but took no action.
His case became great concern to the UK government after Putin declared war on Ukraine, as Members of Parliament are using Parliamentary Privilege to raise his name publicly. “Following some of the reports in The Sun and other newspapers today, I’ve got hold of a leaked document from 2019 from the Home Office. Surely we should be looking at seizing some of his assets, including his 152 million pound home?” He asked.
“And making sure that other people who have had tier one visas like this are not engaged in malign activity in the UK” he said.

“Therefore HMG is focused on individuals linked to illicit finance and malign activity are unable to base themselves in the UK and will use the relevant tools at its disposal, including immigration powers to prevent this” Mr Bryant said.
