CK Akonnor allegedly sacks Arsenal star, Thomas Partey from Ghana Black Stars camp for arriving late
Reports reaching news247gh.com has it that, Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey will not make the trip to Morocco for the upcoming friendly match as he has been allegedly sacked from the camp by Ghana Black Stars coach, CK Akonnor.
He has been sacked from Ghana camp from arriving very late according to reports. Thomas Partey arrived two days late without permission. He’s therefore likely to miss the Ghana verses Morocco, including Ivory coast friendly matches.
Most Ghanaians are not very happy with the Arsenal star on his lacadesical attitude to Ghana’s senior team (Ghana black Stars). According to them, he will never dare to do this to Arsenal.
But according to some sports journalists, Thomas actually asked permission to be excused from the squad on fitness grounds. So reports that he was sacked is actually untrue.
