Didier Drogba becomes first African player to be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame
Ivory Coast legend Didier Drogba has been inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame, becoming the first African player to be honoured with such recognition.

Didier Drogba won four league titles in his glory days. Premier League posted on their twitter page ro confirm it.
“Didier Drogba was the ultimate striker for the big occasion, leading from the front for Chelsea in four premier League successes with a series of incredible goals and huge moments. Congratulations for reaching the PLHallofFame” the statement said.
Drogba has a record of 254 appearances scoring 104 goals. He is a two time golden boot winner, having 55 premier league assists.

He made the eight man list together with Rooney, Vieira, Wright, Scholes, Kompany, Aguero and Schmeichel.
