Former President of the United States, Donald John Trump is back on Twitter
45th President of America Donald Trump is finally back on Twitter after nearly two years of permanent suspension from the platform.

Trump was permanently suspended in January 2021 for allegedly masterminding January 6 insurrection. He has since formed his own social media platform, Truth Social, where he has been posting articles and information to his followers but he is finally back on Twitter after Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover. Elon Musk had earlier said he was going to make sure 45th President of America, Donald Trump is back, and he just achieved that.

Elon Musk, who is now the owner of Twitter conducted a poll on Twitter, asking his followers if they want Donald Trump back or not. After over 15million votes were casts, majority of his followers, 52% voted yes for him to be back.
Trump’s account, with over 90million followers has been reinstated, and he’s gradually gaining his followers back. His return has sparked lots of arguments and talks between Democrats and Republicans. In as much as Republicans like the idea his back on the platform, some Democrats have started to exit the platform. Some of them have earlier pledged to leave Twitter should the President return.
