Donald Trump sues The New York Times & his niece, Mary Trump for $100milion

Former President of the United States sues his niece and New York Times including three of New York Times reporters for alleged ‘insidious plots to obtain private documents of the former President for a story about his tax history – The Daily Beast reports.

The lawsuit was filed late hours of Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in New York, Dutchess County. The lawsuit reveals The New York Times convinced niece of the former President, Mary to ‘smuggle records out of the office of her lawyer and then give them over to The New York Times. Meanwhile, Mary Trump had already signed a confidentiality agreement in 2001 after a legal battle over the will of Donald Trump’s dad, Frederick Trump who happens to be Mary Trump’s grand father.

Mary later Trump responded to his uncle’s new lawsuit, saying he’s just a loser and desperate. “I think he is a fucking loser and he is going to throw anything against the wall he can. It is desperation. The walls are closing in and he is throwing anything against the wall that will stick. As is always the case with Donald, he’ll try and change the subject” Mary Trump said.

The new lawsuit looks for damages in an amount which will be determined later at the trial but reports say its not less than $100milion suit from New York Times and his niece Mary Trump according to the The Daily Beast.
