Donald Trump want his twitter account to be restored, asks a judge to force Twitter to do so.
Former President of the United States, Donald John Trump is demanding that his twitter account be restored. The former leader of the free world has asked a Florida federal judge to ‘force to restore his account ‘ according to The Hill.
Twitter suspended Trump January 6 after the Capitol incident which saw his supporters to have ‘ransacked’ the building. Twitter said the decision was necessary because the former President pose ‘the risk of further incitement of violence’. “coerced by members of the United States Congress operating under an unconstitutional immunity granted by a permissive federal statute, and acting directly federal officials. Defendent is censoring Plaintiff, a former President of the United States of America” the filing reads.
His attorney’s have also accused twitter for allowing Taliban accounts to use the platform while account of a former President had been suspended.
