Elon Musk offers to buy 100 percent of Twitter
Tesla boss Elon Musk offers to buy all of Twitter. The business magnate wants to be a 100 percent owner of the social media platform after buying over 9 percent stake of the company last week.

Weeks ago, Elon Musk became highest stake holder of the company. Chief Executive Officer of the company, Parag Agrawal announced that Elon has joined the family, saying he was “excited to share that” they were “appointing Elon Musk to the board”

But things changed quickly after Tesla boss Elon Musk announced he was not ready to join the Twitter board.
He must definitely have another business plan B. In a letter to Chairman of the Twitter board, Bret Taylor, Musk said he believe Twitter has many potentials but says it could thrive more when it is made private.
“As I indicated this weekend, I believe that the company should be private to go through the changes that need to be made. After the past several days of thinking this over, I have decided I want to acquire the company and take it private” he said.
Tesla boss Elon Musk also said he invested in social media giant because he believe the platform promotes “free speech around the world, and also believe “free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning democracy”
