The richest man on earth wants to sell 10% of one of his companies, Tesla if Twitter agrees. He tweeted a while ago, conducting a poll on twitter, noting he would abide by the outcome of poll, whichever way it gets.
“I will abide by the results of this poll, whichever way it goes” he said.
WFP chief revealed days ago just 2% of his wealth could solve world hunger. Responding to his assertion, the billionaire tweeted, saying the WFP should prove how the money would be used. “Much is made lately of unrealized gains being a means of tax avoidance, so I propose selling 10% of my Tesla stock. Do you support this?” Elon Musk tweeted.
He also said he only have stock and does not take cash or bonus from anywhere. So the only way to pay tax is to sell stock
The net worth of Elon Musk went up after rental company, Hertz order 100,000 of Tesla vehicles. But the billionaire said the deal is yet to be confirmed after revealing paper works are now on going.
“Note, I do not take cash salary or bonus from anywhere. I only have stock, thus the only way for me to pay taxes personally is to sell stock” he said
Democrats want to implement a policy where the rich can be taxed. People believe it is unfair to tax the have nots, and that haves on the same level. Others also are of the view it would not be fair to tax the rich.
