The video below is Elon Musk in 2010 when Tesla opened its first factory. Its first factory was formally a GM/Toyota factory. When they departed the place, they left zero employees with all their good equipments and tools, leaving behind the scrap according to reports.
Elon Musk’s Tesla is today worth more than Toyota, Ford, Volkswagen, BMW and many more car brands. Most of them are now trying to shift focus to electric vehicles but Elon and his company are far gone. According to him his company was almost dying more than a decade ago but bounced back stronger.
“The probability of Tesla dying in 2008/2009 was very high. We closed our financing round at 6pm on December 24th, the last working hour of the last day before Tesla would otherwise bounce payroll” he said after whole Mass Catalog posted a tweet.
“when GM was going bankrupt, Elon Musk was worried Tesla would go under too. He fought hard to save it. Imagine going back and telling him Tesla would survive, make him the world’s richest man, and that in 12years his 2021 tax bill would cover the entire cost of the bailout?” This tweet from Mass Catalog triggered his response.
