Fela Kuti has been nominated for the second time to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for 2022.

The name of the Nigerian pioneer Afrobeat singer was named among other great musicians of our time. This simply means Fela Kuti is still very relevant and his music will live with us for a very long time.

He was named among the likes of Eminem, Dolly Parton, Beck, Judas Priest, Lionel Richie and many great musicians.

His team announced it on his social media platforms of his nomination.

“Fela has been nominated for a second time to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Cast your votes to support his induction now” his team posted on his twitter page.

Many of his fans have been pouring out their frustrations on his nomination. Some have said it was not necessary because he couldn’t win last year. But they couldn’t asked themselves if they have voted for him or not.
