Focus On Your Music – Sammy Forson To Yaw Tog
Sammy Forson, a media personality has expressed his opinion on Yaw Tog’s, “I made Stormzy more popular in Ghana” comments.
The award winning music promoter said the young rapper should focus on his music.
Earlier Yaw Tog indicated that he made Stormzy more popular in Ghana or in the Ghanaian music industry after it was put to him that the UK mainstream rapper made him more popular in the music industry after the Sore Remix.
“Yeah he [Stormzy] made me popular in the music market but I also made him more popular in Ghana because a lot of people did not know him here,” Yaw Tog revealed.
Reacting to the hip hop award winner’s statement, Sammy Forson noted that his [Yaw Tog] comments encourage selfish behavior in the industry.
He said, “Yaw Tog’s comments about making Stomzy popular in GH are the kind that unfortunately encourage selfish behavior in the industry.
If u know what it takes to be a mainstream artist in the UK and play listed into other parts of europe, u won’t loose talk.. Smh.. Focus on ur music.”
Well, the majority of music lovers are displeased with the young bull’s statement. Others, too, have suggested that there is no blemish in Yaw Tog’s statement.
