Footballer Jerome Boateng found guilty of assaulting ex-girlfriend, fined $2.3 million. Boateng of Ghanaian ancestry was fined $2.3 million by a Court in Munich after being found guilty of punching, biting and spitting blood in the face of his ex-girlfriend according to the Daily Mail UK.

Jerome Boateng signed a two year deal with Olympique Lyonnais just this month after playing for Germany and Bayern Munich as a defender. Jerome Boateng who is now 32 spent 10years at Bayern Munich after joining the club from Manchester City in 2011. He won nine Busdesliga titles and two champions league trophies.
The mother of his twin daughters have accused him of assaulting her. His ex-girlfriend said he threw a small cooling box which wounded her arm and then, pulling her hair, Jerome however denied all these claims.
“He hit me in the eye with his thumb, bit me in the head, and pulled me to the ground by my hair. Our relationship was always turbulent” the lady revealed.
