Ghana Armed Forces Gets Trolled For Backdating A Press Release


The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) have responded to the military operation that was undertaken at Ashaiman.
The release that was backdated raised eyebrows and condemnations from concerned Ghanaians. The press release addressed the notion behind the operation and the number of culprits arrested.

According to GAF, 184 suspects were arrested and handed over to the military police and eventually would be handed over to the Ghana Police Service. Read statement below

Even though there are so many unanswered questions, the most-talked about issue was the date of the release. The statement was backdated as March 7, 2022 instead of March 7, 2023.

This have attracted a number of trolls from Ghanaians. Although GAF have deleted the post from their twitter page, the issue still remains the topic of discussion.
GAF have yet to release an updated version of their press release.
