Ghana police don’t have bulletproof vest but they want to buy bulletproof curtains for parliament – Efia Odo

Efia Odo is certainly not happy about current developments in the country where crime rate is rampant and on the high. Just yesterday, one police officer, including an onlooker got killed by armed robbers at James Town, Accra in a bullion van.

Efia Odo, who has been very active in recent #FixTheCountry protest, took to Twitter to pour our her sentiments. According to her, Ghana police don’t even have bullet proof vest but they want to purchase bulletproof curtains for parliament. She went on, how can those who are supposed to protect us, protect us when they can’t even protect themselves? She asked
“Crime is in every part of the world. Ghanaian police men and women are not equipped with the right protective gear. They don’t even have bulletproof vest but they want to purchase bulletproof curtains for parliament. This is what fix the country is all about” the actress and social media commentator said.
Efia has been very active and vociferous on issues lately, demanding equity and equal opportunity for all Ghanaians.
