Ghana Police officer awarded Ghs11,000 for returning Ghs2,000 discharged by ATM
One Ghanaian police officer, Constable Prince Fordjour has has been rewarded with an amount of Ghs11,000 for returning Ghs2,000 after an ATM machine automatically discharged the money.
The police officer was praised for his loyalty and truthfulness. The incident happened at a brief event organized for some high profile officers of the police service with Stanbic Bank in attendance. He was was then rewarded the amount for his honesty and commitment to the service.
A picture of officer Fordjour has since gone viral for very good reasons, as many Ghanaians applaud him for his kind nature. The amount was mistakenly discharged by the ATM and to many, people like officer Constable are very rare lately.
