Virgil Abloh was a Ghanaian American fashion designer. He was the artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear collection. He’s also the Chief Executive Officer of the Milan based label, Off-White.
He was born to Ghanaian immigrant parents in the United States. LVMH Group, released a statement hours ago to confirm his sudden exit. The statement said they are very “devastated to announce the passing of Virgil Abloh, on Sunday, November 28th, of cancer which he had been battling privately for several years”

He sudden demise is great shock to many celebrities as they took to social media to express their sadness. “RIP Virgil Abloh. No one will forget the impact you had. God bless you my friend” PSG forward, Kylian Mbappe.

He has been defined by many as a world icon and one of the most influential designers in history. Kanye West now, Ye who was Abloh’s long time friend has dedicated his Sunday Service to him, “In loving memory of Virgil Abloh, the creative director of Donda”
