Gory scenes in Aiyinase as fans of Karela beat fans & players of Medeama like Makola boys (video)
Reports reaching News247gh.com has it that, the FA cup clash between Karela and Medeama ended in turmoil as journalists, fans and players were attacked and assaulted.
Simple lovely football match that was supposed to cheer and unite people turned very bloody as players and fans of Medeama were seriously attacked by fans of Karela United.
Responses from eyewitnesses and fans has it that, player of Medeama fc Prince Opoku Agyemang scored in the first half of the match, given them the first goal. But Karela was able to through Ebenezer Ackahbi before Diawisie Taylor finally scored to reduce the deficit.
But the beauty of the game totally changed when fans of Karela started attacking Medeama fans. They were beaten mercilessly to the point where blood was oozing from some players of Medeama including their fans as you can see in the video.
Reports even has it that the match was delayed due to how Karela fans were behaving from the very beginning.
Issues between these two teams were resolved days before the match. The match commissioner made an official report to Ghana Football Association, GFA for every necessary action to be taken.
