Hakim Ziyech os only 28 and still has so many things to offer his country and team. He was left out of out of Afcon2021 squad after it was alleged that the player had some personal issues with the coach. Hakim says he just want to focus on his club; that he thinks it’s very important to him.
“I will not return to the national team, that is my final decision. I am focusing on my club. Honestly I understand them but I will not return. Its all clear for me how things are going over there. And right now I’m focusing on what I am doing” he told ADSportsTV

He also disclosed that he has been hurt after the incident.
“Of course I was hurt, who doesn’t. But at the end of the day it’s his decision he makes and you have to respect it. I understand their situation and I feel sorry for them” Hakim said.
