Iran Foreign Minister says Russia invading Ukraine is rooted in NATO’s provocations

Iran Foreign Minister, Amir-Abdollahian has blamed the war in Ukraine on NATO. According to him, provocative actions by the alliance has caused President Vladimir Putin to order Russian troops to invade Ukraine.

The Iranian Foreign Minister tweeted about four hours ago, claiming all this is happening because of NATO’s provocative actions. The minister did not give further details. He did not also explain any form of provocative action/s taken by NATO but said it is ‘imperative to ceasefire’

“The Ukraine crisis is rooted in NATO’s provocations” he tweeted.

He however said Iran does not believe ‘resorting to war is the solution.

“we don’t believe that resorting to war is a solution. Imperative to establish ceasefire and to find a political and democratic resolution” he said

Meanwhile, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Russia yesterday on a two day official visit when Russia is currently waging war in Ukraine. America orders its embassy staff to leave Ukraine (Video)
