At least six people have been killed in recent central Mali terrorist attack. An FRI broadcaster has it that at least 6 people have been killed in Central Mali attack, rendering 13 injured.
The incident occurred near the town of Douentza on Sunday June 27 when a group of gunmen attacked a public transport vehicle, killing 6 on the spot and injuring many.
Reports have it that jihadists are likely to be responsible for this attack. But Mali forces are currently in the region to ensure civilian lives are protected. Mali is currently faced with political instability when heard of military junta arrested power from ruling government and made himself leader of the country. Ecowas and the African union have placed sanctions on Mali until further notice.
