Liverpool football club have now won two Cups this season, all at the expense of Chelsea Football Club

The second round of penalty was very dramatic when Mason Mount missed it. Unfortunately for Chelsea, Liverpool keeper Alisson saved his penalty, given them the chance to make a difference.
After a tough penalty shootout, Tsimikas who never scored for Liverpool football club, recorded his first goal for the English club to win Liverpool’s 8th Emirates FA Cup trophy.
Chelsea have now lost three FA Cup finals in a row and five domestic Cup finals. The club have become the first English club since Newcastle in (1974, 1998, 1999) to lose on three consecutive FA Cup final appearances.
Chelsea lost to Arsenal in 2019-2020, lost to Leicester in 2020-2021 and have now lost to Liverpool in 2021-2022.
