It was dramatic as Pulisic and Mason Mount missed many chances in the first half, the story was the same until they were substituted for Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner very later. These two changed the game and created few chances. A goal from Lukaku was disallowed because the referee who officiated the match believed it was offside.
Liverpool also created very few chances unlike Chelsea. They also scored a goal which was disallowed as well.

This took them to extra time which led to a penalty shootout. All 10 players from both teams scored until it was time for the keepers from both sides to play, only for Kepa to disappoint a lot of Chelsea fans across the world.
