Lydia Forson: Politicians will spend money on a campaign while people will risk their lives in a pandemic to vote
Popular Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson has advised Ghanaian politicians not to distinguish the sufferings of advanced countries from that of Africa.
According to Lydia Forson, things may be difficult due to the Covid-19 pandemic but the advanced countries are not adding more problems to the hardship of the typical citizen.
According to her Tweets, she said “Covid-19” hit the whole world, a lot of countries are still trying to extricate, but to proceed using it as an excuse to inflict suffering on your people is just evil.
“How do you compare countries where people are getting all kinds of benefits through this to us?”
This barely came after the underestimation of the Ghana cedi against important currencies and the daily rise of fuel prices that have affected the prices of goods in the market.
Lydia Forson also argued with the unlikely 1.75% E-levy suggested by the government.

“Politicians will spend millions on a campaign, let people risk their lives in a pandemic to vote just to retain power; and later turn around and act like poor church mice who need leftovers,” Lydia Forson said and advised Ghanaians to wake up.
