The unfortunate incident occurred in the Ashanti Region of Ghana precisely in Konongo.

Father of the deceased said he was at home when a group of young men rushed to him to tell him about his son. They told him he beloved son had been stabbed after a short misunderstanding.
Suspect Pius Osei Kankam had killed his son Kwame Buckman who was just 27years old.
“We were home when I was told that my son has been stabbed. When I came, he had been rushed to the hospital. He was pronounced dead, i have been crying the whole night” Kofi Mensah, father of the 27year old told reporters.

The Konongo Police arrested the suspect together with his girlfriend to help in investigations. Residents who were presence at the scene told JoyNews the suspect was not from the community and that he had a plan to just come and kill their brother.
