They came from losing to Chelsea with a goal in the first half, only to score three goals in the second half. Manchester City boss, Gareth Taylor expressed his satisfaction on the great performance of his girls. He spoke to BBC Sports after the match.
“I’m very proud of my players. We knew we weren’t great first half and we spoke about believe and faith at the half time. I don’t think the players could have shown any more of that in the second half and we were deserved winners, we were fully deserved winners of the competition. Everyone has been magnificent and they deserve this” he told bBC Sports.
