Mr. Samuel Nartey said he hopes that, the motorbikes will help fulfill the dreams and aspirations of policing the Constituency to fight crime.
“This Ningo Prampram is arguably the fastest growing district in the country due to the high number of people moving from Accra to the outskirts of the town. Areas that some years ago were farmlands have been converted to residential areas. Despite the number of people moving in to settle here, there hasn’t been a growth in police numbers and logistics. In the last four years, this brings to twenty, the number of motorbikes donated to the police and two pickups as part of my support to the police. Because of the capacity of the engines, these motorbikes cost us Ghs40,000. This is not the end. Within next months, we will provide them with more logistics and also give them office accommodation befitting of them since the existing one is an eyesore” Sam George said.
Commander DCOP Berima Tweneboah Sasrako II who was at the receiving end applauded Sam George for his kind gesture
