Multimedia group files complaint against Kennedy Agyapong for threatening its journalist (video)
News media company, Multimedia group has filed a formal complaint against maverick member of parliament Hon. Kennedy Agyapong for threatening its journalists, Erastus Asare Donkor.
This was in line with the MP for Assin Central making some daring comments after the said journalist covered the Ejura riot after social media activist, Ibrahim Mohammed aka Kaaka’s demise. On live television, the MP threatened Erastus Donkor, saying if he were the President of Ghana, he would beat the hell out of the journalist.
Kakaa was killed in a mob attack weeks ago, a tragic accident that caused public uproar in Ejura.
“If I were President, I would have ensured that Erastus Asare Donkor is beaten mercilessly” he emphasized.
Multimedia’s complaint was copied to 14 other officials including Ministers of interior and National security, President Nana Akufo-Addo’s Chief of staff, Ashanti Regional Minister, the inspector General of police, IGP, the Director for Criminal Investigation Department, CID and Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
