Nancy Pelosi receives Presidential award from Zelensky
Nancy Pelosi met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky hours ago in an un announced visit to Ukrainian capital Kyiv.
Her visit followed days after several world leaders including United Kingdom Prime minister Boris Johnson, United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres’s visit, to see things for themselves developments in Ukraine.

The American House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi becomes the highest ranked U.S official to visit Ukraine after Russia’s invasion.
Nancy Pelosi said their “Congressional Delegation was honoured to meet with President Zelensky in Kyiv to salute his leadership and courage, to commend the Ukrainian people for their outstanding defense of Democracy and to say that we are with you until victory is won”

President Zelensky awarded the American House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi with the Order of Princess Olga. The Ukrainian President said the award was for her “significant personal contribution” to strengthening Ukrainian-American cooperation and “supporting sovereign, independence and democratic Ukraine”
President said “the United States is a leader in Ukraine’s strong support in the fight against Russian aggression.
He also told Nancy Pelosi and Congress members present the United States should know Ukraine will win the war.

“First of all thank you and all Americans. Its great honour to see you and your team and to see Congress members and madam speaker. This war is very important and I think you have to know that we will win and we will win together” Zelensky said.
