Many Ghanaians are opposed to the controversial e-levy the ruling party, New Patriotic Party want to implement. The E-levy policy has also been rejected by Ghana’s biggest opposition party, The National Democratic Congress when the 2022 budget was read in Parliament by Financial Minister, Ken- Ofori Atta.

But the President believe otherwise.
“The e-levy will provide government with revenue to build more roads, provide more jobs and opportunities for the youth and reduce our dependence on dept” President Nana Akufo-Addo posted on his twitter page.
