Liverpool star and Senegal International Sadio Mane made a special request to his club Liverpool on arrival to the club after Afcon. Both Sadio Mane and Mo Salah left Africa for Europe to continue this season’s Premier league competition.

Both players passed their various countries before departing to Europe. Mane went to Senegal to celebrate the title while Salah also went to Egypt before they finally met in London.
According to Mirror Football, the Senegalese king made a special request to Liverpool. He asked that no reference of him and Senegal should be made as victors of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations title. Sadio Mane helps Senegal to win it’s first Afcon trophy He purposely made this request out of respect to Mo Salah who would have been hurting from Egypt’s defeat in the final of the tournament.
