Samuel Eto’o has officially declared his candidacy for Cameroon Football Federation Presidency, FECAFOOT

Football icon Samuel Eto’o has officially declared his candidacy for Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT.
The four time African player of the year announce he’s running for Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT). Eto’o said time is running out and as far as we have life, ‘we must live up to the huge efforts invested by President Paul Biya’
Eto’o also disclosed that he would not receive wages if he becomes FECAFOOT President. He vowed to allocate funds to the development of amateur football in Cameroon.

“I am honoured and pleased to announce my candidacy for the Presidency of the Cameroon Football Federation, after a careful consideration, I have decided to take the initiative out of love for Cameroon and passion for football” Eto’o posted a lengthy message on his twitter page.
Eto’o is also Cameroon’s all time leading scorer. He joins a long list of former Cameroon players eg. Maboang Kesack, Bell Jojo among others who have contested for FECAFOOT Presidency.
