It was a chaotic scene at the Olembe Stadium in Yaounde last week. There was a stampede that killed eight people and wounded nearly 40 people. CAF President, Patrice Motsepe instructed that next matches be relocated because of the tragic incident. No one deserves to die from watching football.

As a former footballer and President of FECAFOOT Samuel Eto’o elected President of FECAFOOT, Eto’o thought it was nice to visit victims of the tragic incident. Hours ago, he disclosed on social media that he visited those who were gravely affected and still at the hospital.
“Today I paid a visit to those injured at last week’s tragic incident at Olembe Stadium. On behalf of the Cameroonian football family, I wish everyone involved speedy recovery” Eto’o posted
