Some streets in Spain especially those in Madrid will be renamed. The Mayor of Madrid who supports the idea said streets close to Russian embassy will be renamed to honour the people of Ukraine.
The names will be changed to Ukrainian towns where Russian soldiers commit atrocities. The Ukrainian towns Include Kyiv, Ukrainian capital, Irpin, Bucha and Mariupol.
In Madrid, streets near Russian embassy will be renamed Irpin and Bucha. And the streets Russia and St Petersburg will also be replaced by Kyiv and Mariupol” Ukrainian embassy in Spain said.
Russian soldiers commit atrocities in these towns according to reports. Mothers have been raped in front of their children and children have been raped in front of their mothers. Bodies have been burnt and mass graves have been discovered by Ukrainian officials weeks after Russian soldiers invaded Ukraine.
