Taliban beheaded volleyball player and posted photos online

Reports that the Taliban has chopped off the head of a volleyball player and later posted photos of the beautiful woman on the Internet

But conflicting reports online say Mahjabin was mysteriously killed a week before Taliban took over power in Kabul in August. Other reports also say she commited suicide. But The Persian Independent reports that Taliban beheaded her according to Mahjabin Hakimi’s coach in an interview with The Persian Independent.

Mahjabin Hakimi who was a rising star of Kabul Municipality volleyball club was butchered on the neck by Jihadist earlier this month, Hakimi’s coach said.

The coach said Taliban had warned Hakimi’s family not to voice out the sad incident to anyone and their lives have been threatened since. But hours after her image was seen online, she decided to tell the world.

“All the players of the volleyball team and the rest of the women athletes are in a bad situation and in despair and fear. Everyone has been forced to flee and live in unknown places.

Taliban does not allow or permit women to participate in any kind of sporting activities after Kabul fell. The girl child have not been allowed go to school and women holding key positions in Afghanistan have all been discharged of their roles because of sharia law.
