The National Youth Organizer of the ruling party, New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, known as Nana B has communicated happiness with the judgment by the Cape Coast High Court on Wednesday, July 28,
2021 invalidating consequences of the 2020 Parliamentary Elections.
As per him the judgment is a triumph for law and order.
Tending to the press after the decision, Nana B said “today is another triumph for law and order. This a request that was documented by our own companion Michael Ankomah-Nimfah.
“Today the court, after very nearly a half year has maintained our position and the applicant’s situation besides. We had over and again said Honorable Quayson at the hour of documenting his designation to challenge as a MP was a Canadian and furthermore a Ghanaian.”
In the interim the National Chairman of the resistance National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has portrayed the judgment as a tragedy of equity.
Tending to the press after the decision, Mr Ampofo said the appointed authorities’ choice came as a shock to the NDC and its attorneys.
As per him, parties to the case realized that a decision by the Supreme Court on Tuesday, July 27 directed that due measures are followed to move the case to the apex court of Ghana for hearing
